I guess the painting replication would be done on a canvas so I suppose it'd be fancier than a poster replication. For me it would depend on what kind of style I want the room I'm decorating to be. If I wanted some fancy-shmancy room, I'd go with the painting. Otherwise, I'll take a poster.

I like the posters - all the art in our house is posters or prints. My husband thinks it would be cool to have a painted replica, but I don't think I'd like that.
