It really depends on the context. If it is referring to monetary wealth, then I would say it is false. If it is referring to happiness, then I would say it could be true.

Let's look at the jobs, where in general, one must arise before dawn: Construction worker, Military Serviceman, Farmer, Food service industry worker... Meanwhile, aside from Food Service, it's common place to give a shift differential to workers who are willing to work night time (meaning they wake up after the sun has risen). I've seen it go as high as $3/hr (or roughly $3k/yr). Not bad.
