No, I usually just read them as a poem or something. I can't imagine that I'd want to take the time to put a tune to it.

Haha, yes. I read a lot of fantasy books, and a lot of them have such songs. I can't help but make up a tune.

Thomas Pynchon always has random songs in his books. It's hard not to hum inwardly along.
