I think that for the most part, I do.. but I am much more cautious with word choice, as subtle humor and sarcasm are lost so easily though text.

No not really, I guess I do sometimes. But as mentioned sarcasm and subtle humor is lost in text very easily. If I'm sarcastic I kinda try to over mention it. So people can understand. |

I type somewhat in the manner I would speak. I use smileys to convey nuances and subtleties, making them very much less subtle, but they're not lost, at least.  |

Yes, the way I type is usually very much how I speak in real life.
Unless it's something I put a lot of thought into, which you can't do very un-awkwardly in real life.
