yea, but it's boring to watch a bunch of guys running around from here to there.... it's exciting for the last 30 seconds of the run...hard to fit enough commercials into that time to make it profitable in the "Sports world" next please

I'd say cross country running, esp. long distances.

Personally I think cross country is harder work. For every sport running is punishment, but its all that cross country does. Not to say football isn't hard work, but i think running sucks ass and i could not run several miles almost everyday.

U.S Football. But then again I could not run like they do. Strange creatures. I like to watch. Not participate in sports.

X-C is definately way harder than football. In my opinion, the hardest part in X-C is how you never get a break in the whole race, you just have to keep going no matter how much it hurts.

And X-C is what now? A drug that's 'way harder than football'? Is it cross country? Is it some form of Xtreme sk8boarding?

Cross Country by far! If you don't run in a while, you'll get worse (I've heard that the hard way ). You can give up football for a month, you'll still be just as good.

yeah I agree

I say XC out of the two, because football gives you a break between plays, but hockey and lacrosse are still harder than both. You are at a constant sprint AND getting hit by large people.(with sticks I might add...)

I don't like your selection. The wrestlers in my school are awesome. They're even good at wrestling.

X = Cross C stands for Country it's much easier to just write XC than Cross Country. Oh sorry, you do not like abbreviations, I will use the longer version of each word so as not to confuse you.

Haha, yeah! I'm glad you guys agree that cross country is more grueling. I am a cross country runner myself and have this debate with my brother all the time, who plays football. In my opinion football may be just as tough physically, but XC is also greuling mentally and takes a lot more determination.

Soccer is more of an edurance sport. American Football takes a lot of work build up your body lifting weights and running, it's not that easy

i think track takes harder work.. because your ceompeting against other other people in races and stuff like that. football is like a team thing where you get help from other people.

I've never done either, so I can't really judge. Just in my opinion, I'd say cross country because I suck at running.

Anybody who has voted cross country has never faced a lineman in a game. That takes a gut full of guts, and it hurst like a mother when he is two feet taller than you.... trust me.
