Yes I have

Years ago, when I actually belonged to a religion, several people expressed interest in it, and I did my best to provide information. A couple actually then joined the religion, but it was after they did some reading and investigating on their own - not because I actively tried to convert them. I'm not really the converting type.

No, my religion involves taking cake from the unbelievers and heretics, and the fewer of us there are, the more people there are to relieve of their cake.

nope, and I dont intend to
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Saturday 4/1/06 - 1:32:39 AM EST (GMT-5)
Nope. I'm not really that religious to begin with, and second, I think it is wrong to force someone to convert to another religion. If they convert on their own, that's fine, but I have a problem when people try to get others to convert because they feel that their religion is better and is the only way to go.

Yeah, seriously. When people ask me my religion, I always say Athiest, but I guess it's really more of the lack of religion than a religion.

But if so, then yes, I have.

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 4/2/06 - 3:21:41 AM EST (GMT-5)
No because I wouldn't want someone to try to do that to me, I am what I am and no one can change that
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 4/2/06 - 3:31:05 AM EST (GMT-5)
I'm just curious, but why are people saying they don't want to convert someone to their religion? Converting someone doesn't have to mean being aggresive and rude about it, it could just be informing them nicely...

And if you *really* believe in your religion, wouldn't you at least want people to feel the same way and be saved, or whatever it is you believe?

To answer the question, though, I have not.

I wouldn't want to convert anybody to anything. I figure that if they feel the need to change, they will. If not, it is none of my business.
This is mainly because I don't like it when people try to convert me. Why would I do something to someone that I don't like being done to me?
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 4/6/06 - 11:52:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, and I made it up. Yay!
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 4/6/06 - 11:54:22 PM EST (GMT-5)

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 4/6/06 - 11:54:54 PM EST (GMT-5)
I've never intentionally turned someone away from their beliefs, nor would I try.

I converted someone to Noddyism.

Not that I'm a Noddyist, I just thought it would be a laugh...

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 4/7/06 - 12:34:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
I seriously doubt I've converted anyone to agnosticism.

Possibly my own kids - but that isn't really converting.

16 yrs ago - Monday 4/17/06 - 6:06:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
Is this possible?
