It's about as hip as hating Michael Moore.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 7:36:57 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's not in my family. I'm the only one who didn't vote for him.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 7:44:25 PM EST (GMT-5)
Where I live? No. It's very unpopular to bash Bush. I'm not sure about the rest of the country, though.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 7:45:56 PM EST (GMT-5)
Uh yeah, I don't really care for Bush all that much but I'm getting sick of all the bashing.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 7:46:48 PM EST (GMT-5)
Absolutely.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 7:59:39 PM EST (GMT-5)
not hip, FUN!
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 10:06:50 PM EST (GMT-5)
if it's hip to have common sense, then yes.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 10:14:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yeah, it is.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 10:30:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's not an issue of "hip" or "not hip". It's an issue of agreeing or not agreeing with his policies, and to what extent.

I very much dislike Bush - I think he's dangerous. Hippness is not a factor.

For you it isn't, but for a lot of mindless culture-bots, it is.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 11:28:26 PM EST (GMT-5)
I think it is.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Sunday 2/13/05 - 11:29:55 PM EST (GMT-5)
"For you it isn't, but for a lot of mindless culture-bots, it is."

Not any more so than liking him is, though.

And therein lies the debate
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Monday 2/14/05 - 1:28:33 AM EST (GMT-5)
There are peopel who dislike Bush for legitimate reasons, but I have to admit, there are alot of peopel saying they hate Bush just because they think it's "hip".
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Monday 2/21/05 - 7:23:33 PM EST (GMT-5)
hehe...i hate Bush...i told my father that...and i told him i went to a war protest with some friends from school and a friend at UT...and i told him Bush was gay...and he's in the navy...he wouldn't talk to me for a week, except to tell me my skirt was too short or i needed to take off some of my makeup...loser.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Monday 2/21/05 - 7:27:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
Well I think people should hate Bush for there own reasons not someone elses just because they think its "Hip."
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Tuesday 2/22/05 - 1:32:40 PM EST (GMT-5)
Where I live in NY, it is hip to hate Bush. But, then again, I go to school with smart people.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Tuesday 2/22/05 - 9:22:59 PM EST (GMT-5)
Obvously the hip thing to do was to vote for him seeing as he won.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Tuesday 2/22/05 - 9:28:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's why most people do, I think. If you ask a Bush hater around here why they don't like him it's usually a "I dunno- just do" response. That's a pretty dumb reason not to support a world leader... because everyone else is doing it. Isn't that why people smoke too?
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Tuesday 2/22/05 - 10:41:11 PM EST (GMT-5)
young people tend to think so. but that it is because most young people are liberal (it comes with the territory). as for me, I like Bush, but I don't think its "hip" to hate Kerry. I just don't agree with his policies
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Wednesday 2/23/05 - 12:45:14 AM EST (GMT-5)
not where im from...here ppl eat, breathe, live and die by his bold-faced lies and crap-for-answers talk...i pretty much get beat up for liking the Democrat...
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Wednesday 2/23/05 - 1:24:34 AM EST (GMT-5)
The mans a dick, of course it is. Kerry's an even bigger dick though.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Wednesday 2/23/05 - 3:20:05 AM EST (GMT-5)
Kerry's a dick for conceding before the votes even got counted, for taking no issue at all with the obviously finagled black-box issue, and for being a loyal Bonesman as expected. Mussolini defined corporatism as a better word for fascism. (He ought to know, having invented the notion.) America is no longer a democracy, it is a corporatist theocratic oligarchy with traces and echoes left of former democratic principles. I dread the future we all face and want to expatriate myself so much words cannot express it; unfortunately, Americans are not exactly being welcomed with open arms into the world communities any more. One thing: it's Rove, not Bush, who's the true villian. An advisor, living in the West Wing, who's known the Bushes for years and latched onto the son after working for the father, knowing his dreams of world chessboarding could be realised. He is very intelligent but very dangerous.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Wednesday 2/23/05 - 3:26:43 AM EST (GMT-5)
I don't think it's "hip" to hate him... I just do. ;)
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Wednesday 2/23/05 - 2:30:29 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's hip but, I don't think he's that bad. I studied Fahrenheit 9/11 at school, and I was the only on who was pro-Bush after it. In my coursework essay I labelled it propaganda as the last line. I got "powerful ending" and an A!
