Whose planning on going to see this one in theaters next weekend? I'm a huge Bruce Willis fan and am impressed that he's still able to do this awesome action sci-fi films at his age.

I Bruce Willis, but I really want to go see "The Invention of Lying", too, and it opens on the same day, so I'm not sure what I'll do. I guess it just depends on what kind of movie I'm in the mood to see, comedy or action.

"The Invention of Lying" does look funny, but Surrogates has been one that I've been looking forward to for quiet sometime. I'm a suck for anything Sci-Fi and this gives me a Matrix meets IRobot feel. Have you seen the updated trailer for yet? It just came out last week and shows some awesome new footage and gives some good insight in to the plot, without giving too much away.

I felt it was way too short. So much more could have been done.

Hmm and I'm actually excited about the shorter run time. I kind of like the idea that it's shorter, rather than longer. I hate when movies drag on for 2 hours+. This way you know the film is going to be action packed from start to finish.

Action doesnt equal a good film.

I agree with Misty. It should have been 15-30 minutes longer.
It was only 89 minutes.

It reminded me a bit of Gamer.
I liked it just find, but it did abruptly end.

I was a fan of this one. Really interesting and thought provoking themes covered. For the most part I was pretty impressed with the adaptation. I thought it was pretty true to the story. Was also impressed with Bruce Willis, he's one of the better actors out there.

It was okay, not nearly as good as the graphic novel. And I'm so tired of films that take place in Boston and there just has to be something associated with the Red Sox shoved in your face.

It was a good concept, but the whole thing I thought just felt silly.
