Oh, so it took you years to realize you didn't like them? Sounds legit. Maybe you just didn't like TLJ and that's fine.

I didn't research anything, I have a good memory.

Not that good, obviously
3 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Sunday 6/10/18 - 6:30:55 PM EST (GMT-5)
Lol even what you posted wasn’t a raving review.
I even said it wasn’t flawless.
Here’s a clue, the prequels were meh.

I ignored the numerous plot holes and character flaws because they basically took a New hope and tweaked the script.

That was posted the night I saw it.
Before I even saw TLJ I started questioning if it was as good as I thought it was.

As far as Rogue One, as a stand alone movie it would be better. Like not part of Star Wars. But upon further review of that it became clear it was a movie made to cover a plot hole from the original...which is kind of dumb to do.

arent death threats and nasty words pretty much guaranteed whatever happens if you are.even midly famous. even yt had such eminent individuals as Aran and tric.

even if TLJ was actually good i am sure rveryone involved could have still gone on a jimmy kimmel(?) 'celebrities reading meam, tweets'.

doesnt mean they deserve it but isnt the problem more that sexist, racist and homophobic (or.even more casual) abuse is fairly normal on the internet.

Shh, that doesn’t fit her narrative.

There will always be SOME people who make nasty comments to famous people. There will NOT always be so many, and such virulent hatred, that it makes news and forces people off social media.

And as you said, it's unacceptable in any case.

How many were there?

Upon further review?

Are you serious here?

What I really wish you'd do is gtfo of here and go see Solo, tbh. It's fun.

Like I revisited it and realized it wasn’t as good as I thought originally.
Literally the best part of that movie was the Vader intro into Star Wars.
That’s happened with plenty of movies.

I’m sure I’ll see it one day...no big rush for me.

3 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Monday 6/11/18 - 1:42:17 AM EST (GMT-5)
I'm honestly sad for you!

Oh the Vader deal at the end was cool as hell and def my fave part of RO.
3 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Wednesday 6/13/18 - 1:21:01 AM EST (GMT-5)
I just saw Solo today. And...… I liked it. It wasn't great, but it was good.

Pros: I liked the first meeting between Han and Chewbacca. I liked how Han Solo got his name. I liked the Lando backstory. Did anyone notice that Han shot first when he killed Beckett? And Beckett said he was right to do that because he would've killed him otherwise. Harkens back to the Greedo controversy. There's a lot of story remaining with Jabba the Hut that could be made into Solo 2.

Cons: There were moments in it where I thought why did he or she do that, when they could've just done this. And all that switching sides was annoying and unrealistic. I liked the Qi'ra character, but it was unsatisfying how she changed into a completely different person at the end.

3 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Wednesday 6/13/18 - 1:25:08 AM EST (GMT-5)
When Han and Qi'ra first saw each other again at the party, the meeting was so dry and cold. This should've been a highly emotional scene with tears of joy.
3 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Wednesday 6/13/18 - 1:33:52 AM EST (GMT-5)
I think you have to remember that Qi'ra had led a very different life than when she had been with Han years earlier. She didn't just change at the end, she had been changing in the years that they'd been apart. She also was in the presence of her boss at that party, so.
3 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Wednesday 6/13/18 - 1:34:07 AM EST (GMT-5)
I'm glad you saw Solo, however!
3 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Wednesday 6/13/18 - 1:51:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
That is a good point about her boss being right there. But still, I would've expected Han to have a bigger reaction at least.

And I do feel obligated to see every Star Wars movie, especially since I have enjoyed all of them, even though I quibble about minor details. But that's part of the fun of it.

I will also add that I was afraid that I wouldn't like Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, but I liked him almost immediately. I've never seen him in anything else.

haven’t seen the movie, but when you change directors 3/4 of the way and then reshoot several scenes, with actors no longer available, you end up with a big mess to fix in post production.

not trying to defend anything, i’m not a SW fan.

It's a miracle it's been well received considering that, imo.

Ron Howard deserves major kudos.

Considering that, I think they did an amazing job with it.

I was worried about Alden Ehrenreich too but he turned out to be great.
Also love the Han and Chewie moments.
and The Calrissian Chronicles™
