That was such a bullish*t penalty. Feel bad for Denmark.

I had high regard for the French side but after tis I'm not so sure ...
Did you see Giraud taking the ball to the corner flag in order to waste some tim?
WITH 20 MINUTES TO GO AGAINST PERU!
You're a f*cking disgrace.

Well, and then came the Argentinians. I think on a good day any team can lose agains Croatia and Argentina sure didn't have their lucky day themselves. So it sure was a disappointment, but...
But Otamendi kinging the ball against Rakitic's head while he was already lying on the ground really was one of the lowest points ever in fair play.

Argentina were lucky to qualify in the first place so I wouldn't be surprised if they fail to get out of the group stage. I said the same thing before the tournament and got a lot of hate for it.

I think Nigeria vs Iceland will be a draw which will help Argentina so they're not out of it, unless Iceland and Croatia play 'tactically' in the final game and fix which ever result eliminates Argentina.

Looks like Brazil needed overtime to avoid to get kicked out of the tournament ...

This should’ve been a red card.
(Btw, amazing how Columbia got a red card just three minutes in for practically nothing)

I feel bad for Serbia. The challenges on Mitrovic we're worse than the one on Harry Kane. Absolutely shocking decision.

I think a draw would have been a fair result.

Had Mitrovic got that penalty, Serbia may even have won the game.

I only saw the second one and I think it deserved a penalty. What is the video referee there for if not for such instances?

Great game today with Germany vs Sweden. Germany won in the last seconds of the game.

That was quite nerve wrecking
And I definitely feel sorry for the Swedes that fought hard and probably deserved a penalty in the first half.
But man, that goal ...

Panama are just humiliating themselves. I can't even have sympathy for them when they are 'playing' like that. You'd think they'd have learnt they're lesson but they just continue to grapple in the box. It's embarrassing.

Great result and performance and no injuries. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome. My only complaint is that Rose came on for Trippier. I'd preferred Alexander-Arnold to come and have half an hour to settle in. Not sure the of thinking behind Rose coming on other than perhaps match fitness with him being higher in the pecking order.

Very well played by Englan! Especially the Lingard goal was great. And Harry Kane - man, is he self confident in shooting panalties! - is now one goal ahead of Lukaku and Ronaldo ...

And yes, I didn't like what Pananma played either. But it was so nice to see how the fans cheered and were really happy when Baloy scored the very first WC goal for their country EVER.

They gave me a reason to cheer for Sweden, that’s what.

All the African teams out and just one Asian team going through. Kinda crazy really.

England better hope they do well against Belgium, Colombia look good

There's been a lot of discussion here about whether we should try and win and finish top or play second side, put no effort in and finish 2nd. If we finish top then we're in the same half as France v Argentina, Uruguay v Portugal and Brazil v Mexico. On paper the other half looks weaker.

Personally, I would rather we try to keep momentum and get another win regardless. We have players in good form so I don't think that should be disrupted.

I can't believe it came down to yellow cards for Japan/Senegal. I would have liked to see them both advance over Colombia.

Looks both England and Belgium have the same idea.

Looking forward to seeing Alexander-Arnold though.

Well, Belgium-England certainlyy wasn't a great match but definitely much better then France-Denmark as at least some players tried to pla football.

Unfortunately they gave EVERYBODY a reason to cheer for Sweden and deserved to get kicked out of the tournament after not showing a single good or even decent match.
I also read that besides some officials also two German players had made fun of Swedish players after GER-SWE. f that is true they didn't deserve to even play there in the first place.

I mostly meant that in a well if I can’t cheer for the country most of my heritage comes from I can at least cheer for the country the second highest amount of my heritage comes from sort of way
